#801 A beach ball has us bouncing with joy

Happiness is a feeling that everyone strives for every day, little do they know that happiness is in the little things that they surround themselves with. They might be simple in appearance but one can never underestimate the power that lies in those little things. I never really realized that there was this one particular object in my house that gave me happiness and it always managed to put a smile on my face. To my surprise it was a beach ball that I bought nearly a year ago. Can you imagine the effects of a beach ball in your life? Well, here’s how it goes…

A beach ball is basically an inflatable ball used mainly for water or beach games. Light in weight and vibrant in color, a beach ball is surprisingly a wonderful amuser. And yes, I know, I know. You might be thinking that it’s just a ball and who really has the time to take it on a beach and play? Well, the argument is fair enough and it is quite true that not a lot of people have the time to regularly indulge in such extra-curricular activities. But what if I say that the role of a beach ball in your house isn’t just confined to ‘playing’?

Looking at a beach ball we’ll often see that it’s divided in such a way that the color white is the dominant one, whereas a combination of red and yellow is seen on the other stripes of the ball. This unique pattern is itself soothing to the eyes and its light weightiness makes it an object that anyone can play with at any time! There might be different colors or sometimes logos though regardless of the color scheme the one thing that is typical is the vibrancy and brightness of the colors.

I remember this one time when I had invited a friend over for dinner and they had a five year old boy. The very moment he saw the ball he started playing with it, which means that the beach ball gave us happiness as it was a delight to see the child playing. One interesting fact relative to beach balls is that they are also used as relaxers in swimming pools. As they are inflatable you can throw them around and maybe play with it, just to vent out the frustrations that you picked up from a hectic day of work at the office or school.

Now, let’s not forget the amount of fun you can have with a beach ball! Gather your friends and just visit the beach or hit the pool along with your beach ball and you’ll have the time of your life! Furthermore if you’re at a baseball game or a concert you can toss it around the crowd and see how much fun playing with a beach ball can be.

So, I’m pretty sure you’d like the idea of having a beach ball at your place, as its very sight will put a smile on your face!
